Marcy Franck is the Communications Director at the Center for Health and the Global Environment, where she directs the Center’s strategy for communications, branding, media relations, and online presence. Marcy works with researchers at the Center to translate their work into accessible resources, and then ensures that those resources reach audiences who can use them to improve our health and the health of our planet.

Marcy is also an independent volunteer supporting refugees around the world, and writes extensively about refguee-related issues in her blog on the Huffington Post, and also on Facebook

Prior to joining the Center, Marcy worked as the Publications and Communications Manager at Harvard Family Research project and served as the Marketing Communications Manager of a Boston-based technology company.

Marcy holds a Master of Liberal Arts in general management with a concentration in marketing management from Harvard University Extension School in Cambridge, MA, and a bachelor’s degree in English writing and literature from Wheaton College in Norton, MA.
