As the Center for Health and the Global Environment's program manager, Nicole manages strategic planning efforts at the Center, including new program development, partner engagement, corporate & board relations, fundraising, internal collaboration/communication, and working closely with our Communications Director to implement branding strategy. Nicole works with the Center's leadership, directors and staff across all programmatic areas to manage a number of cross-program activities, vet new opportunities, and run regular strategy meetings with the team.
Nicole works especially closely with our Sustainable Technologies and Health program, where she serves as the program leader on sustainable business development. Within this program, Nicole has worked with government officials, entrepreneurs, and investors in identifying areas of opportunity for strengthening local business incubators and business accelerators to foster the creation of a healthy Innovation Ecosystems around the world.
Nicole founded the Landmark Green Team in August 2014, a local initiative for the 12 Harvard departments in the Center's building. This team has implemented a number of new projects related to e-waste, green events, sustainability education, energy reduction, with a vision to build a green-minded community in our work space.
Prior to joining the Center, Nicole was the Marketing and Business Development Coordinator for Koetter Kim & Associates, a Boston based architectural design firm. With a passion for entrepreneurship and the environment she started a green event planning company in 2011 called Simple and Fabulous Events, where she worked with eco-conscious clients to design zero waste events.
Nicole is currently pursuing her MBA part-time at Babson College. She holds a B.B.A. in Management from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and is a certified event planner and permaculture designer.
